Food was yummy, loved the steaks...NOT THE COD...was a lot of batter and greasy and the tartar sauce was yucky. Salad bar was nice and fresh and the cheesy bread was to die for. Had to wait a few minutes for silverware but the waitstaff was amazing and accommodating. Price and buffet are great.
This is a wonderful, casual dining experience. It's a primarily pizza themed restaurant with an accompanying buffet and salad bar. After walking in, you'll be seated and can begin choosing food immediately! Their pizza is pan style with a melt in your mouth buttery crust. They have round cut potato jojos, and other meat and veggie deliciousness to fill your plate with. There are a couple soups to choose from, and a handful of salad choices to give your meal a cool crisp addition. Follow up your hearty meal with their fun dessert bar that has cold serve, cinnamon rolls and cookies. Beverage bar drinks include hot/iced tea, sodas, and coffee. Once you begin drinking from their beverage bar you can switch as many times as you care to. Start with iced tea, and close with coffee to go with dessert, yum! There are some beer and wine choices at a surprisingly economically priced rate. Lunch buffet cost around $10.50 and includes everything but drinks, dinner buffet cost around $16. Beverage bar cost around $2.75. Beer and wine are extra. Check out their menu for exact prices. Children and seniors have discounted rates. Look, I've been eating in Izzy's restaurants for over 30 years. I'm now at a point where I get to take the next generation of my family to this easy-to-eat, fun, buffet restaurant. It's great. I always feel content afterward. Sneaky Side note: you can order pizzas to go/pick up. Their unique buttery crust really stands out. I do hope you all enjoy it!
Pizza buffet. Decent pizza. Small slices and not enough variety in toppings. Clean well stocked buffet. Good salad bar and tasty deserts. Try the pineapple upside down cake +/or the cinnamon rolls. Still somehow, it sometimes seems something is missing here that is hard to pin down.
Good fairly hot food. Pizza not real hot. Too much thick crust. Needed more vegetarian choice of pizza. More non pork choices. Both soups also contained pork, bacon and/or ham. Salad and dessert bars very good. Would prefer scratch/package mix puddings vs canned.
I went to this place for the first time in years and it’s just like I remember it. Good service and ok food. The big downside is the price. For a dinner buffet and drink it’s 17.50 which is way too much for a pizza and salad bar buffet, especially of this quality. The picture I included was their version of Mac and cheese with savory toppings. With the savory topping being what looks like gold fish crackers. Decent place for maybe 10 dollars, not almost 20.
