I shared The volcano with my daughter and it was absolutely amazing. It filled both of us up and left us very satisfied. My daughter and I could not stop saying how we've never had better bacon, sausage or pancakes from any other breakfast restaurant in town. For the prices, it is too good to be real. The pancakes have a texture of fluffiness that I don't ever think I could replicize in my kitchen. It's almost like without a note The Black Bear diner knew exactly how I like my bacon and sausage to be cooked. I can't believe I haven't heard of this place until recently. I highly recommend to anyone in the area and even if you're not in the area it is worth the drive.
Went with the family it was wonderful. Had a great time. Black Bear diner is a cozy place makes you fill like your in log cabin full of pictures of black bears. Awesome place! I give you 5*
I had french toast, bacon and scrambled eggs. Hubby had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage. Each had coffee. Total with 2 coffees was 2895. I had a Groupon for 30. It was good, but hubby said sausage gravy had no taste, that's why I'm giving a 4 star and not 5. The biscuits were huge. Not a bad deal, for too much food at one time. Was able to bring home leftovers for tomorrow's breakfast. Coffee was strong, the way we like it.
Probably the best spur of the moment choice for lunch. I have had in quiet a bit. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Prices are pretty good too. Absolutely fell in love with atmosphere. Has that "Sambo's" feel to it. Instead of a Tiger, it's a Bear. The food is absolutely wonderful. Love the menu design and every aspect of the diner really. We are moving to K.Falls and was happy to see they have another location there. So we will definitely be going.
Place is not open yet. We came thinking it was but they had a soft opening . Large portions, tasty and fresh portions. Country potatoes were my favorite. The service was great, I am sure they took care of us not only because it was a soft opening, they seemed to genuinely care about of us. The restaurant is nicely decorated. I would highly recommend it.
