Nice, homey, smallish place. Wonderful catfish -- best I've ever had! Greens are fine! Cole slaw is terrific! Nice cake desserts. Staff nice and friendly. Small parking lot, but lots of street parking nearby.

Stopped in at random driving back to my hotel, ordered fried cod, greens and cole slaw. Perfection. Neat little dining room, full pastry dessert case, all the traditional southern side dishes. Worth finding a parking spot for. Yum!

They do fried fish right! Soul food style with sides like coleslaw, collards, hush puppies, and mac n cheese. They also have a ton of desserts like sweet potato pie, German chocolate cake and strawberry cake!

I just left there about 10 minutes ago the employee who took my order was really nice. And I think the owner I chatted with for a bit too. Their cod fish and chips is delicious. I live in Southwest waterfront and drove all the way over here just so I could have some real good fish and chips I highly recommend and I definitely will be back! Thank you for some great fish and chips and really nice hospitality.

FABULOUS DEEP FRIED CATFISH!!!! Crispy coating that is very well seasoned, but NOT greasy at all. I'm a bone-in fish kind of woman, but let me tell you the owner made me a believer in his filler catfish!???? My 7 yr old daughter is super finicky, and is major on having her fish, "SUPER CRISPY". Well they past the test because she requested a additional piece. To our surprise the owner gave her a complimentary piece w/fries! (How sweet and thoughtful). Mac&Cheese was pretty good as well as the slaw. Laid back atmosphere. Great place to bring the family for a good southern style home cooked meal. We will be returning today!
