First visit this morning for a breakfast sandwich (delicious!) and get a feel for what they're offering. Everything bagel was very good with nice chew. Excited to come back and try more. Rugelach looks amazing, and I have high hopes for the black & whites.

As a New York transplant, I can definitely give these bagels a stamp of approval. I've lived in the Portland area for 5 years and haven't been able to find bagels as good as the real deal. This place hits the mark!

I love real bagels!! Grew up with them and know a delicious real bagel when I taste one. I enjoyed a salt bagel with regular cream cheese. I asked for it toasted and I don’t think it came that way but it was still good. I’d like to try their other sorts since the salt bagel was a little too salty for my tastes but still good with that pull and chew real bagels should have.

I was born and raised on Long Island, NY, and after trying every major bagel place in Portland I am relieved that somebody got it right. Finally, a bagel that doesn't taste like bread with a hole in it.

I love their selection of cream cheese spreads and look forward to trying more of them. I can vouch for the jalapeno cream cheese having tried it twice.

Truly NY-style bagels, having grown up in a town with no less than half a dozen bagel spots and within walking distance of a 24 hour bagel place, I know bagels!

I like how they boldly stock old-school Jewish deli classics that wouldn't necessarily appeal to the Portland crowd. For example they have cream soda, kugel, and smoked whitefish. For most people at least some items on the menu would be new for them or even adventurous eating, which is more than can be said of most bagel place around here.

I find their prices to be very reasonable for what they offer. I don't know why this place doesn't have 5 stars. Everyone should try it.

Pumpernickel bagel was soft and boiled to perfection. The matzo ball broth was incredibly full of flavor. Staff was kind and accommodating, apologetic for selling out out everything, plain, and other items. Get here early and enjoy! So happy to have them on Sandy, this neck of the woods is having a fabulous surge of great businesses! ????

Also, I loved every song played. Made it such a warm experience.
