Cozy place for tasty food and cold beer/cider. Fish and chips, clam chowder, oyster shooters, oh my. Onion rings showed up at the next table and they smelled amazing! Friendly folks and a family feel. Will be back again and again!
A great multi-generational family owned joint. They have a small but delicious menu and often more than 20 great micro brews on tap. Unlike most pubs and tap houses its very family friendly at all hours with toys for kids and games on the TV. Best fish and chips in town.
A not so hidden gem for many locals I presume. I had the pleasure of frequenting this pub with my 2 mates on a mini holiday we arranged this last week. David, Michael and Tony are some of the nicest people we met in Portland. I hear that everyone adds their own specialty when food is being made. That being said, the onion rings are to DIE for (thank you Michael) from Joey, Cody, and Aaron we will never forget your hospitality and amazing atmosphere.
Cant wait to come back next year to see Vic's Room!
We love it here. They are close to our house which is awesome but they also have a nice little kids play area upstairs and a fantastic beer menu. The food selection is small but the experience is great. They wen had live music the last time we went!
Tap list is great and still $5 a pint! Thank goodness. Atmosphere is super friendly. Fish and chips are delicious and the buffalo chicken sandwich was great too. My little kids love the upstairs playroom and their cheese ????. My older child was a big fan of the little Sega genesis and I enjoyed showing her all about the video games of my youth (and finding out how bad I've gotten). I'll be back again and again. Thanks for reviving and reinventing this place.
