Amazing GF menu! Very nice portion sizes. So far I have only tried 4 dishes, and so far, I am planning to go back every time I visit Portland.
They seem to be doing very well in the social distancing aspect.
The outdoor seating is nice.

Excellent service - so fast! Food is solid Cuban. Well done you all, keep up the good work!!! The Dark and Stormy cocktail topped it off.

The Cubano sandwich is amazing, the service is beyond par.

Soon to become a Hawthorne favorite. Something for everyone; meat lovers, vegans, gluten-free. Fresh fruit rum cocktails and super flavorful food with well balanced spices. A little on the high-end for prices, however it's hard to complain about high quality food and great service. My co-diner ate a classic Cuban that was right on the money. I had a guava/cream cheese empanada for an appetizer, which was perfectly fried without being greasy and for my entree the spicy mojo shrimp plate, with divinely cooked and adequate portion of shrimp. We each had fried Yuca for a side, similar to a potato but with a hint of sweet and just different enough to feel like not just your ordinary french fries. Too full for dessert, it'll have to wait until our next visit. When on Hawthorne it's worth a stop.
