    I've been eating Mexican food for 36+ years and the food from this place was just a little bit different.
    A little longer coming out of the kitchen, a little more flavor and a little crispier and lighter. We had tacos dorados (#18) and the mushroom quesadilla #24 and neither a pool of oil left on the plate. The mushroom quesadilla was the best thing I've eaten in a while and the Mexican rice is actually red and full of flavor, not pink rice like other places make.

    Good food and real home made taste and the other thing here, is they gonna serve you fresh hand made tortillas...

    Great new place in N Portland. Lots of samey, average nearby Mexican places but this one is more fresh and more flavorful than the nearby spots. Better then the place it replaced. Their burritos are fine and good but spend the money to buy the other specialty menu items. Flavorful tender meat, delicious!

    The best Oaxacan food. I recommend them, you won't regret it. I love the goat birria..
