Fire On the Mountain Buffalo Wings | Interstate

I eat here 5 or 6 days a week. Organic, hormone/antibiotic free, free range chicken. The place is small, but the personality is BIG! Service is always awesome, and the food to match!

Wing Connoisseur here, and a customer in Portland told me he wanted to take me to a local wing place for some good wings, and he wasn't lying. They were great. We had 3 different flavors, the medium, the sweet honey, and a hot. They were all good. And the cajun tots were a fantastic side dish for the wings. I highly recommend this place, and will be back when I come back to Portland no doubt.

Vegan review: I had a fully vegan meal, the vegan wings with vegan ranch dressing. I'm not used to eating wings so it was kind of weird, but I felt like I got the wing experience. The soy protein was very chewy, but I was not concerned it was real meat because it fell right off the sugarcane "bone". The vegan ranch didn't have much flavor, but it did make the wing sauce less spicy. I got the peanut sauce, it was pretty good. Fun laid back kind of a place. Outdoor seating too.

Ordered onion rings with garlic aioli, what a combo! If a restaurant can do their rings well, typically the rest of the fare will be good too. And this place does their rings incredibly well.

I will find myself back here again.

Small place, cool atmosphere. Wings cooked perfectly. Came out quick. Sauce made in house and it's spicy. Quite a few flavors to choose from. I recommend.
