This place is definitely one of the coolest restaurants in the area. Whenever I go there I am exceedingly satisfied. They keep their high level service and the topmost level of dishes they provide. You surely will enjoy this this restaurant. Very recommended.

The blackened cod with Brussels sprouts was excellent. The oyster sandwich was excellent. The coleslaw was great. Not sweet. The fish stew was superb

One of the few places in St Johns with table service! My significant other brought me here to celebrate a new job I had gotten and it was the best celebration ever! Cute, vintage vibe in the dining area and from our table we could see the chefs preparing our food. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and types of oysters. Bloody Mary was delicious and delivered promptly. Oyster shooters as an appetizer were fresh and divine! Lastly, our entrees arrived. Ciopanno was hot and the bright tomato and seafood flavors were all there. Fried halibut was as expected and the breading was not one bit soggy at all! Would recommend taking friends from out of town here and will be coming back myself ????

Fishwives is totally worth going to!! Everything is so fresh and it's comfortable seating and people are nice. Great prices for the quality you get. Cod fish and chips are off the hook good! The waffle fries are yummy. Check them out!

Dont let the exterior fool you, this place is great, the service was super friendly and helpful in making the right pick from the menu. The pasta dishes were really good, nicely balanced not to heavy on cream sauce or oily. Decent selection of wines that pair well with food. Good clam chowder, fish was small on the fired portion but looked and tasted great. The salad dressing was also a nice refreshing vinegary tarragon flavor that worked well with the meal to come. Plentiful with the bread as well.
