Los Gorditos

Pretty much my favorite burrito shop of all time. Has separate meat, vegetarian, and vegan menus to accommodate any diet. All the traditional meats, and really excellent meat substitute proteins (get the soy curls) plus delicious refried beans, and awesome salsas. Their salsa roja is one of my favorites. Not always completely consistent in their product, I've had a disappointing burrito here and there but I'll never take it out of the regular rotation.

Great food and even better prices. The tacos are HUGE for only $2. The restaurant could definitely use some sort of ambiance though.

I love me some good Mexican Food and this place hits the spot. Very authentic, took my order quick, food took about 10 minutes but well worth the wait, came out fresh. Had the chicken Enchiladas and was very satisfied. Too busy stuffing my face to even take a decent picture, but so good!

A+++ burritos for a great price, ready in minutes! My burrito is almost always ready by the time I have finished picking my sauce from the self-serve hot sauce bar (spoiler alert: they're all delicious). Challenging parking, but worth the effort.

For the Californian expat, there are few oases of Mexican food in the wasteland of Portland. Gorditos is not an award winner, but this solid, serviceable, and well priced menu will quench your desire. Good vegan and carnivore options. Each location can share your love equally, because, no one is going here for the atmosphere, and the burritos are excellent and consistent. I give this one Four Salsa Bar Condiments out of Five.
