Ordered a pork belly special with pork neck fried rice and an egg. The pork belly was perfectly tender with a crisp coating and the fried rice was delicious. The seasoning/acid/heat combination was ideal. Definitely worth a visit for any Portland native or visitor, can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes!
Pictured is a warm pandan donut. I'd never tasted pandan before, but let encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and try this. Yes, it's a green donut. Yes, it's more amazing than I can adequately convey in this review - sort of reminiscent of banana and coconut. Pair it with a nice cold Vietnamese coffee and maybe their chicken banh mi.
I've been here a good 10 or so times and have yet to eat a single bad dish. Everything they make is amazing. The daily rotating menu is a really neat idea though sometimes makes it tricky when im craving something during the week that's only served on saturdays.
Awesome place for brunch , simple testy. The ice coffee is really good.
This is one of the best meals that I have had.
Breakfast on a Sunday should always start with a good vegetarian option; crispy tofu, rich and not overly sweet coffee, and a refreshing salad.
I will come back to Portland just for this place-Seattle needs something this good!
