Good quality and variety of fish and other seafood. Friendly staff, always helpful. The restaurant serves good quality food.
I have been meaning to check out the fish and chips here for a while. Im not in Woodstock often, but my work put me there this afternoon so I checked them out. It was amazing. I got the oysters, and they didn't disappoint. Fresh, hot, fries were perfect. Some of the best seafood I've had in a while.
Fresh fish and a light fry makes this some of the best fish and chips in town. It's a bit of a splurge but it's worth it when you want to treat yourself. This is also the SPOT for never frozen, quality fresh fish and some quality marinades and sauces to go with it. Also appreciated is the wine cabinet selected to compliment whatever you're cooking.
Friday fish and chips it's our hobby. We arrived half hour early. The frying of the fish started at 11:30. We purchased smoked scallops, smoked sturgeon and smoked salmon as appetizers. Our fishmonger was a very pleasant young lass with mad singing skills. They have an extensive menu of deep-sea Delights. Clam chowder wasn't an option but if it were I wonder what it would have tasted like. Our fishmonger told us that we would be back after sampling the smoked fish. She was right we will be back! Oh yes we will. ♥️ Oh also we found a very nice walk-up window on the west side of the building on our way out. There was even a few empty parking spots behind the Portland fish market.
Fresh. Fresh. Friendly. And did I mention fresh?
Oh, the smoked fish is awesome too.
Annnnd, it's the best fish and chips joint around. Highly recommend the halibut and chips. Gluten free to boot!
People complain about price—but I say you get what you pay for. Its damn good fish all around. Worth every penny and then some. You only live once. Enjoy the good stuff.
Will definitely be back for more!
