Rico's Burritos

Great secret spot that's cheap, good and quick. Run by two ladies, the vegetarian burrito was great. The beans are done very well here and the burrito moved well as I ate. You folllow me on this? When you eat a burrito there should be no dead spots and no overwhelming spots. They use cabbage in the veggie burrito which held everything in. Not too much cheese( higher quality it seems) can't wait to make this a regular lunch. Oh the salsa are good too. The red sauce has a nice Smokey acidic vibe

I lived in NE Portland for a short stint, and I can definitively say that Rico’s Burritos was the best part about my time in the PNW. The Mexican food here is the absolute bees knees: my favorites are the pastor burrito, Chile relleno breakfast burrito, and chicken breakfast burrito (they’ll add whatever protein to the breakfast burrito– just ask!). Coming from LA where Mexican food abounds, this place hit the spot and then some, beating out most of my favorite spots from the homeland. The owners are so kind and the food so good, this is a local gem that is severely underlooked and under-appreciated. Pack your sh*t, get in the car, and get to Rico’s ASAP.

Authentic Mexican food and affordable prices. The ladies that work here are so kind and i have never been dissapointed with the food! Just do yourself a favor and eat here.
