The Rockabilly Cafe is the perfect addition to St. John’s restaurant scene. The staff are extremely hard working and friendly and the owner clearly cares a lot about the Cafe and his customers. The food was delicious and served super quickly despite the place being packed! This place is totally unique - something we have not found in Portland yet! Super proud to have this gem in our neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back!
The food was yummy! The memorabilia around the restaurant was fun to look at and they had a jukebox playing. The owner was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. The staff all seemed great! It's a nice casual environment and fun for all ages. We'll be back again.
This place was absolutely amazing!! I went in and was just amazed the entire time, the boss gave me a free shake because I’m sure he could tell how joyous I was. The old dinner feel is amazing and the staff were super amazing. Good was good and the fries were amazing!! Such a fun vibe and fits the St John’s vibe perfectly. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!!
Decent little diner. Really captures that old diner feel. The staff were amazing and attentive. Food was OK. We had the savory crepe & the biscuits and gravy. The savory crepe was awesome, really an enjoyable taste. The biscuits and gravy were "OK" my complaint would be that the gravy seemed kind of watery and did not seem to have a lot of seasoning. Still lots of menu to try out so we will be back.
Food was fantastic! Our server was great; we did see one group with a newer server, but Dave the manager stepped in to try to make everything right for them. Overall, it was a great experience. We had the Rockabilly cheeseburger, the burger with onion rings and BBQ sauce, and the Cuban sandwich. All were great tasting and served hot. We also had the fries, onion rings, and potato salad. Fries were awesome, crisp, and hot, seasoned perfectly. Onion rings were good, husband enjoyed them. The potato salad though, so worth the addition! Great flavor and perfect texture!
We will 100% go back to this spot and can't wait to try breakfast.
