We showed up an hour before closing on a Saturday night. Our server was very friendly, polite and attentive the entire time. We enjoyed the large portions and prices. Our steaks were cooked correctly and they tasted great. Excellent value for the price, excellent service....when we're in Portland again, we'll definitely be back

This place was fantastic!! I honestly haven't been here in years until today and I have to say, I am VERY impressed! FANTASTIC service! Food was better than I remember it. Good cocktails. We sat in the bar. I honestly feel bad it's been so long since we've been there. My wife ordered a NY steak and prawns with a baked potato. It was all ????... I had a secret menu prime rib french dip (I had to ask for it) that was probably the best french dip I've ever had... We are definitely going back. No reason not to.

The waitress we had New Years Eve was amazing! (Desiree). The steaks she recommended were good. The cordon blue soup was delicious! The raw veggie appetizer( included) was also fresh cut n appealing. Tho the house dip was unimpressive. The baked potato was done right. I chose it over the mashed potatoes because they were not Real. The bread basket -- not great. Soft white chewy bread yet the melted garlic butter was tasty. They serve Real pats of butter as well. I chosecspumoni ice cream. My partner chose the sorbet. Cheap but tasty. We left a 40% tip. Our waitress knew her menu. Was friendly. Checked on us often. Her honesty was also very much appreciated. We waited app an hour in the back Banquet room n sipped water n pineapple juice. Pleasant. All in all worth the wait. It was New Years Eve....

First time at a Sayler's and will definitely go back. Got the 20oz rib eye, (leftovers) medium rare and was perfect. Not overly seasoned, but a good steak shouldn't be. Salad and fries weren't all that exciting, but still good. Bread is incredibly soft and warm. Mmmmm!!! Service was prompt and friendly.

I hadn't been here for a very long time and it was just as I remembered. A excellent steak dinner. I had the porterhouse cooked to perfection, mashed potatoes and gravy with broiled prawns. Everything was absolutely delicious ???? the service was excellent. The prices are high but the meal was worth it.
