We held a private event at the Side Yard and had an absolutely wonderful time! Stacey and her staff were incredible, the venue was amazing and the setup/break down of everything was seamless. Highly recommend across the board and looking forward to going back!

My husband and I just got married at the Side Yard Farm this past weekend. What a memorable experience that Stacey Givens and her staff created for us and our guests. If you’re looking for a venue and/or a caterer, I cannot say enough (as you will see) about our experience. Let me just share a few things about Stacey and her wonderful business.

-First, Stacey is the consummate professional. Working and communicating with her was super easy and she was on top of every request, even right down to the wire. Also, just what a genuine, kind and lovely individual. We felt like we were treated like her friends every step of the way. The care and attention she put into our event was exceptional.
-Stacey’s staff for our wedding—all of them were super kind and attentive. They set up everything for me even more beautifully than I imagined it and they took great care in meeting the needs of all our guests.
-Next, the farm. Just gorgeous. A masterpiece of flowers and veggies growing all around us and so randomly tucked away in an NE Portland neighborhood. We fell in love with it on sight months ago, but the day of our wedding, the sight of it brought tears to everyone’s eyes.
-And OMG, the FOOD! We found Stacey while looking for a farm-to-table caterer online. After seeing photos on her website and meeting her, we literally set our date according to her schedule. What a magnificent dining experience! We love the Portland food scene and frequently are out dining and can easily say that Stacey needs a James Beard Award and some Michelin stars. What she does with food is simply breathtaking. Not only was everything perfectly done, exceptionally delicious, but it was all beautiful! The consensus among everyone at our wedding was not only, “best food at a wedding”, “most beautiful food I’ve ever seen”, but also “best food I’ve ever tasted”. What she provides is art and, clearly, her love is in all of it.
Stacey, her staff and the Side Yard Farm exceeded all of our expectations. We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to this establishment. We will be working with her again soon!

We hired Stacey to cater our school fundraiser auction. She grows her own produce at the Side Yard Farm which was a big draw for us and aligns with our own values as a school. Working with Stacey was a pleasure! She is incredibly professional and efficient yet also friendly and personable. She listened to our needs and made suggestions along the way. Communication leading up to the event was quick and to the point as was her organization. What really stood out was her talent and quality of service at the actual event - her staff was highly capable and performed well under stress, the food was spectacular and the team took care of things from the get go. We would happily work with her again and highly recommend her.

Stacey was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Her food was outstanding! The taste and the visual presentation were out of this world. Our guests were blown away with the flavor and the freshness of our meal. We were very proud to be serving food that was locally sourced and so well made. Additionally, Stacey was professional courteous, and made the planning process simple and easy. She took good care of us and made us feel at ease. We felt like we were working with a close friend from the moment we met her. Would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!
