86 Biscuits

Thank you. Thank you for the humor, brightness, delicious biscuit and great gravy, and for leading this morning’s experience with ease and grace!

Homemade yummy biscuits baked fresh! This ain't McDonald's!! A little off the beaten path but well worth it!

Meaghan is a genius of a breakfast cook. She's expanded the menu past biscuits and gravy to include scrambles, benedicts, and breakfast sandwiches, all of which are to die for. As of October 2021 she is only open weekends while they get the new food cart pod up and running. Absolutely worth the trip.

My take on it is that this little food cart is gonna need a lawyer...

...to help set up the necessary legal structures...

...to accommodate the religion...

...that is going to form around these biscuits and gravy.

There are a lot of variations on biscuits and gravy out there. And many are good. But this...? This is something different. These biscuits and gravy are from another planet, where those aliens heard the phrase "biscuits and gravy" but were all fabulous alien chefs and just came up with something that technically is a biscuit and gravy, but is in fact a savory rich delicious week-long planet-wide festival happening in your mouth, that is so outrageously fun that you are thinking "I could give up Burning Man for this festival."

I think they are that good.

I also enjoyed the Carnivorous Crow Scram, which was delicious and attention-getting and very satisfying. A little plate of fabulous -- also recommended!

Next time I go, I'm going to try the Murder Bowl. Because if there is a thing called a Murder Bowl and I DON'T try it, then my ancestors will not welcome me into Foodhalla.

So, please go, please try everything. And try the other food carts, too!

I have never cared for biscuits, usually finding them to be dry and bland. These are completely different, far better. These are moist and crumbly and flavorful. Often gravy can just be a brown deep note of monotony. This gravy has some wonderful bite and spiciness to add the high notes and make it a full chord of flavor. Definitely check them out!
