The Matador

If you like your Mexican food Americanized, then this place is great. It's some pretty delicious eats with even better (and pricey) drinks. Margaritas are the way to go. Lots of seating. The key here is happy hour: 4-6PM and the 10PM-close late night special.

Was craving a Margarita and some Mexican food for lunch today so I decided to hit up The Matador.

It’s the first time I’ve come in for lunch and I was happily surprised. It wasn’t super busy so we just found a seat up at the bar.

The drinks came out fast. The chips and salsa hit the spot and my meal was outstanding.

This has been talked up, so much by my friends, and, boyfriend. Definitely lives up to the hype. The nachos are where it's at.

The only point I'd make is that it's very dark at dinner. The ambient lighting throughout is just below a tolerable amount - making the reading of the menu hard. Folks at my table all had visibility issues for the menu.

The food here is amazing! The mole burrito is a perfect blend of flavor and spice! The nacho appetizer could be its own entree.

The restaurant was pretty crowded, but they were able to seat us immediately.

Delicious food and great service!! Our waiter Gabe was absolutely amazing! He was attentive and was very nice! The food was so yummy everything we all had was so good! Great place to go, parking is not the best but you'll find one eventually!
