Abby's Legendary Pizza

I probably go here 4 times a week, in the mornings. The pizza is always amazing, but the other morning I was in and I think the manager Dallas greeted me with a smile. We had a conversation that made my day. Love seeing happy workers while I enjoy my lunch special. Great example.

We stopped for lunch and tried the lunch special - 7" pizza, salad bar & drink, $10.95. The salad bar had a nice selection & everything was fresh. The pizza was just the right size for 1 person and it was very good! The atmosphere was open and staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be going back to eat here.

We visited Abby's for the first time since moving to our new neighborhood a couple of years ago. We've tried most of the other pizza places around, but somehow missed this one. You order at a counter, proceed to the small salad bar if you ordered a salad, then seat yourself in the spacious dining room. The counter staff were polite and positive, which I appreciated. We ordered the individual sized pizza and it was very good, though it only came in thin crust. I would have preferred a different crust option. The toppings were plentiful and fresh. There was a good variety of topping choices as well. The restaurant was clean and comfortable (and frankly, looked just like most other pizza places). We'll be back, or at least order take out of this good pizza.

This was our first time getting Abby's, and we enjoyed the pizza. Husband got the 10" deep dish, with pepperoni and two bacons, while I got 10" deep dish with pepperoni, red bell pepper and green bell pepper. If you like thicker crusted pizza, this was really good. The sauce had the right amount of spice, and the toppings were flavorful. We'll be going back for more.
