Amazing customer service! Also amazing breakfast and pie

Great friendly service and had very filling breakfast. A must for travelers on way to Portland or Boise. Just a short distance off the interstate highway.

It’s a fantastic little hole in the wall diner cut straight out of a movie scene. You can’t afford to miss this place if you’re traveling along 84.

I stopped in on an early rainy morning for a light breakfast before exploring the Blues. I was greeted by a friendly couple who ran the place and placed an order for a fitting basic breakfast; sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, & toast. While the woman was in the back cooking my order, I spoke with the man behind the counter about what all you do in the area since I’m not from around this area. He was super friendly and informative, even offering maps and ideas of things to do in the area. Food came out timely, and was excellent. As I was finishing up, the place really started to fill up. This surprised me considering it was a rather remote diner on a rainy weekday morning, but looking back on it I’m really not all that surprised.

The experience I had here was akin to something I’d watch on the TV. The atmosphere of the building, the food, the people, the weather and time of day, everything. I will DEFINITELY be back next time I’m traveling along the 84, and the 4.8/5 star average for a remote diner reflects that I’m not the only one who feels this way!

A great place to stop for a wide selection of basic meals any time is day. The hamburgers are very good. Be sure to also check out the road kill special menu! The owners are pleasant and easy going. They obviously enjoy serving the public. And, be sure to finish your meal with a delicious home made pie and ice cream.

Exactly the type of place you want to see in a small town. Cute place, country music playing. Super nice guy running the storefront. Most amazing breakfast ever. I seriously don't think I've ever had better hash browns in my life. The place has a sense of humor about itself. I bought a beer cozy and it said "Meacham, OR. Why would anyone want to live here?" I feel so lucky I got to eat breakfast here 2 mornings in a row because we were camping nearby. I can't leave a good enough review!
