Awesome find in Pendleton! Great cocktail menu, with which they use their own spirits. Food was delicious and fresh! Not your typical bar food at all!

Can't wait to visit again and try another cocktail!

I was getting back from Boise, and was on a road trip heading back to Portland. I was craving authentic oven pizza with fresh crisp ingredients, and came across the forger. White sauce with citrus was refreshing, and artichoke slightly tart, and crust was moist and chewy. It doesn’t weigh you down at the end, and perfect for sharing or midnight snack!

This place is a big old building that isn't pretty but man have the turned this place into something you shouldn't miss in this old farm town!

The drink menu has so many fun original drinks using their own liquors. We both had the huckleberry hound and it was awesome.

The food menu is equally impressive with original salads, sandwiches, burgers, and wood fired pizza that is gastro pub worthy! We shared the Awesome Burger and it was outstanding; best I have had in a long time.

Large covered outdoor area with big tables and water misters make it very nice, even in the heat. Dogs welcome!

Service was good, drinks very nice. The appetizers also very good. We ordered the New York, they were cooked perfectly to order...but tough,I question the quality of meat they are getting from Hines Meats. Would still go back, they have a large variety of pizza to choose from and we would like to try a few.

Sometimes you just gotta Roll the Dice... I am so glad I did. The mid point of a 8 hour drive put me in town and 4 hours of hard driving had put me on edge. I had seen friends had eaten here and decided to give it a try.
The greeting and seating staff were prompt, polite, and very friendly. Since I was traveling alone she offered an open seat at the bar and I didn't have to wait at all. The bartender was an excellent daytime bartender who took his time with a weary traveler and answered all the questions. I remember the "Awesome burger" from years ago at another joint in town and figured it was a local thing, it is and oh my cheesus was it ever worth it (see attached pic).

I ordered a "roll the dice" cocktail and the bartender asked me a couple of questions. He then presented me with a glass of the most perfect mix. It was sweet and light and tasty and just a hint of the alcohol to remind you it is an adult beverage (and you can only have 1 cause your driving). I absolutely love the concept of this style of menu for food and drinks, the next time I am coming to town and bringing friends and we are gonna spend the evening just letting the staff decide.

I got so lucky to see the owner and got a personal tour. Between the history of the place and the science of the business I was so blown away I forgot to take pictures, until Rodney told me that they were changing and adding to the Barrel Aging room so if I take a pic it won't look the same the next time I come (thus the only other pic I got).

My only regret is the lack of a shipping option (as of the time of writing) for any of the spirits. Apparently it is in the works for the future. But until then all I will have is my memories and a deep desire to return.
