    The burgers and curly fries were amazing!! Everything made fresh. Highly recommend!! The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming despite us coming 15 minutes before closing.

    Why visit fast food spots when your meal can make memories! A charming traditional 50s style diner with great hospitality to match. We stopped in for dinner on a road trip and it was brilliant, far out shining any mainstream fast food alternatives.

    First time here. A truly unique local restaurant. While the food service is not fast, I think that's what makes it taste so great. Will return when passing by this town again!!

    Exceptionally good hamburgers, milkshakes, and ice cream. Houghts is a long time La Grande summer tradition. You know summer has arrived when Houghts opens! The setting is simple, and it’s family style is a reminder of the traditional values that are lasting and endearing, and enduring.

    Great fries and ice cream !! Love the outdoor seating and they have a water bowl for the dogs and sell pup cones for a quarter. We love this place, one of the best parts of every summer - especially ice cre after a hike !
