“Spectacular place. They work for a 10 out of 10 experience! They have a great all you care to eat buffet. If you are there for breakfast, try the breakfast burrito. Plus starbucks coffee and great grab n go options downstairs in Macs Grill”

“Just what La Grande needed! The bowling alley looks amazing inside, very very clean inside and out. The price is great contrary to some reviews, try bowling in Portland and its well over $100 dollars. You great the same experience for half the price! So excited to have the restaurant opening soon, then it will be even better! The community needs to keep this place busy, that way we keep this establishment open forever!”

“Absolutely hands down the BEST burger I have EVER had! Great friendly and fast customer service. Bright red trailer is eye catching and kept up immaculate. Impressed all around!💯 Huge burger, had to literally squash burger down to even fit it in your mouth.”

“I was skeptical coming here to eat because I never have been there and food at bars can be a hit and miss... However, there was Great customer service, the bartender was awesome!! I will say whoever is whipping up food in the back is something special! I ordered the Mac and Cheese Crab Melt and it was outstanding! Definitely recommend this place, great vibes and overall outstanding experience 👌 👏 👍🏻”

“So I was not having the best day & i decided to get some Starbucks. The gal who works there with blonde hair & a gold septum piercing is a angel! She made me a iced chai with pumpkin cream foam with brown sugar & told me it’s like a warm hug; which it definitely is! She was so genuinely sweet! She even gave me a gold star & I started crying, so did she a little. I can’t explain how kind she was! She truly made my day so much better, I’m so very thankful! So thank you so much, you were truly amazing.”

“Love going to Short stop for froyo. They have great options and most times they have a couple different flavors added and others taken away. Usually you can find a couple flavors that sound good together or at least one. Lots and lots of choices for toppings between lots of dry toppings to wet toppings and to top it off they have whip cream and sauces to put on top! Couple perks of this place is you get the choice of preferred colored spoon and they also have a student discount.”

“Chowder is the best dish in this shop in my opinion.so thick so savory taste. Pork rib taste is ok to me. However the texture is awesome. Meat and bone is easier split. Perfectly cooked texture”

“These guys are the absolute best. Whether it’s Carry out or delivery this crew is amazing and always friendly. And the pizza is always fresh and delicious! If you disagree you obviously stubbed your toe today and are being a Karen so take a minute, go yell at some kids for playing too loudly in your neighborhood, scream at a clerk because you misread your coupon and have a nice white claw or whatever you Karen’s drink these days and chillllllllll ❤️”

“Nothing bad to say, typical Taco Time experience. Food was well prepared and presented. Young folks who worked there were nice. We dined in, and the tables were clean and the environment was well air conditioned. Bathrooms were clean. Recommended.”

“My stay here was absolutely fabulous! This was my second work trip to La Grande and if I'm ever back I will absolutely stay here again. Much better than the other hotel options in town. The bed was extremely comfortable! The location cannot be beat - you can walk to all the fun places! The shower worked super well. I loved the provided noise machine for sleeping - I never had any issues with it being too noisy to sleep. It was a bit difficult to maintain a cool enough temperature for myself for sleeping but I was also there during a very warm spell! I do not hold that against them at all. Check in and check out were a breeze - it does feel a bit odd going into a restaurant to get to your room but you're in the right place! On top of all of that the complimentary wine in the afternoons was greatly appreciated. I also highly recommend checking out the local across the street (owned by the same people) - they have great breakfast options and a wonderful patio to sit at.”

“this is a restaurant with drive thru . with three cars waiting in front of us, we spent 10 minutes getting ours food- fast enough. there is a lot of meat on the plate, the meat is very soft and crispy on one side, the onion is cut very nicely and thinly. The bahlaba is really tasty and it feels good with vulture and honey. Would definitely recommend this place for a bite to eat along the way. the only thing I would ask for salt with me. Other it's very tasty”

“Great service above all, the food wasn't bad either. All of the restaurants in town were closed for varying reasons, this was the only one open and handled the crowd of people beautifully. We got a Taco Salad & Smokehouse Omlet”

“Passing through while we make our way back to NC. We’re from WA & moved last spring. This place looked good and it did not disappoint. Salad bar was good and had everything you can think of for toppings. I got the 1/4 slice of a large pizza and it had two slices & was perfect with the small salad. I got the Hawaiian. The dough could have been just a touch more done but it was very good. Also cute women’s bathroom. Nice to have clean bathrooms. Good service, decent prices. They have arcade games too! Lots of reviews so you know this place is popular. We’re documenting our whole road trip. Best restaurants & places to stay from WA to NC.”

“Amazing place to be on a Friday night! I give it 99.9 stars out of 100! I loved that there were American and Hispanic waitresses, I don't see that almost ever in a Mexican restaurant the boss was actually interacting with his staff and laughing with them and his customers they all were consistently checking in to see if we needed anything at all . And they did not forget my husband's birthday at the end. The prices for the meals were so good not to mention the meals themselves. So tasteful ( kudos to the cook!) Muy sabroso! Muchisima gracias for a great bday dinner date we can't wait to travel back just to bring the whole family!”

“This place was a total surprise! Holy mackerel! 15 out of 10 on this spot! WE GOT THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SALASA! So hype. So good. I ordered the Fajita Quesadilla and man-o-man was it top notch and filling. The service was absolutely incredible. Forgot their names but shout out to each and everyone there for the wonderful hospitality this evening. You guys ROCK! Glad to have stopped here.”

“Sometimes it's the little places that have the best food in town...! Definitely a good place to stop by and get some good food, some of the best burgers in town. Big hamburger patties & not Gracie. I found this place to be better than the other Burger joint just down the road that does drive-through only. The staff here is definitely even more friendlier and very helpful. I'm a truck driver with a big belly, the food servings here are more than enough to fill a hungry trucker's belt...! I did upgrade my Hous-Western-Burger to a combo with extra big fries, the dipping sauce for the fries is pretty good to me as well.”

“This little hotdog cart is off the beaten path, but worth the search! This is defiantly the place to be if you like all beef hotdogs! I have tried roughly half the menu and everything has been good. The service is top notch. Seriously, give this a go for lunch some day soon.”

“Nice clean store. Prices reflect the new "living wage" demanded by unskilled laborers these days. All in though pretty good for ucky fried ick. My mom loves the place. Will return. Potentially after winning the lotto.”

“Cool, little burger joint in a small town with not that many other options! I liked the old school vibe and the staff were very friendly. The food was okay, and very well priced, however, it was nothing special. I had the "fire" burger and yam fries, and there was not too much spice to it.”

“Cool western spot, amazing breakfast and Why hasn’t anyone ever told be about the potato cake?!!! Didn’t even know it existed but it was the best thing ever! It was huge and filled with bacon 🥓 😋 great price! Also biscuits and gravy so delicioso! Love the fact that you order as you come in and take a look at the menu on a board, then they seat you, smart and great time saver! I’ve already recommend this gem💎!”

“I walked across the street from The Landing Hotel to grab a milkshake and a sweet treat. The Local offers handmade ice cream, pastries, tea, coffee, and sandwiches. I ordered a Blue Moon Milkshake (raspberry & other flavors), a pecan huckleberry scone and a piece of banana bread. It was busy and I received my milkshake in about ten minutes The milkshake was thick and had great taste. The scone and banana bread were both very moist and not really sweet. I enjoyed the the fun atmosphere of The Local and came back the the next day for a raspberry Italian Soda. Located on Adams Street in La Grande across from The Landing Hotel. A nice place to stop for a frozen treat, pastry, drink, or sandwich in a renovated Texaco Gas Station with friendly service.”

“Boy can they make a girl happy! The Shirley temple was just perfect, and the food was hot and fresh. The atmosphere was friendly and fun, and I’ll be back to cheer the guys on at the next pool game”

“The service was great, that's the only reason I gave it ⭐⭐⭐(3)!! The food however, just being honest, was eh. After reading reviews I couldn't wait to try the Turkey Noodle Soup . . . Soo so disappointing. It taste like flour and starch, and literally had ONE noodle and ONE sliver of turkey in it. We also started off with the sampler, the mozzarella stix had no cheese lol,, and the mushrooms were still cold.. On the other hand, my bf ordered the Hot Ruben sandwich, and it was delicious 😋 I had the Philly sandwich, it was ok. All in all, the service and atmosphere were great, but I don't recommend going there for the food.”
