Al Estilo Michoacan

I didn’t really want to review this place because I wanted to keep it hidden as our go to spot but the word is out -it’s very very good!!!!! It’s nestled between two other restaurants and it is very small and quaint it’s just a step above a taco truck but the food is amazing I grew up with this kind of food and my husband who is white loves it and thinks it’s better than any of the other places we normally go to it is our “go to “ place when we want street tacos or soup or basically any Mexican food that is comfort food.

This is the go to place for great carnitas, birria, everything. Don't tell too many people.

I called ahead of time to ask if they have sopes. When I got there I noticed their were 3 occupied tables. I put in my order for 2 vegan sopes. And a small bottle of water $9 total..
The sopes were ok. Not much on them. And the beans tasted like they were cooked with chicken bullion. Which made them too salty.
Also they were very thin. A good thing is they were made fresh at the moment you order
This place does not have a salsa bar. :(
I wouldn't go out of my way.

Delicious, Rustic and Authentic. Stopped in here for lunch and we were one of maybe 8 people in the place. Being the first time wasn't sure what to expect. It is like a food cart with an indoor eating area. Ordered the Enchiladas filled with Carnitas. Very delicious! So was the rice and beans. I'd eat here again for lunch or for a quick bite. Its not a typical sit down Mexican restaurant with chips and salsa. But the food is way better..
