Joe’s Burgers Murrayhill

Burger joint. Great lettuce-wrapped burgers, excellent fries. We'll be going again.

Good burger and better fries. Dine in meal served in a cardboard box, ketchup in packets? Lots of waste in that presentation. And you have to ask for a straw? Rethink your green positions for utility.

Better than regular fast food. Garden fresh tomatoes, Yum! But iceberg lettuce? Yikes. Burger patty was thin that was a bummer, but the bun was toasted (nice touch) overall tasty. The onion rings we're fabulous my burger had blue cheese, it was fair quality but nothing to brag about and if I happened to be in the area again I would go there instead of one of the big fast food chains.

What happened to this place? The last time I had Joe's, it was at the Bridgeport location, and it was great... Really looked forward to going to the new location in Murrayhill. Nowhere near the same. I subsequently heard that the Joe's in Bridgeport had taken a similar dive in quality/taste. Too bad.

I can say the burger wasn't bad, and the sauce was good, the fries were good, but little else to distinguish this place from McDonald's. I also noticed they serve milkshakes with booze in them... Which I can then drive off with. Not sure it will ever cause a problem with any open container laws, and I'm not trying to create headaches for this place, but I'd rather simply have a better burger.
