Tom's Pancake House

After trying for 3 days to get a parking spot to be able to eat inside Tom's, it was a decent experience, food was fine, the old fashion burger I got was huge but as for taste left much to be desired, by no means was it bad but still I expected more, and the wife's chicken fried steak was the same, pretty good but the gravy slightly too sweet and I wish there was some more complexity in the dish, from the breading to the graving. All in all the food was fine and not a negative experience either way but still felt slightly let down.

The crepes here are fantastic! The owner gave me a taste of a couple of items that weren't on the menu. One of which is Fried cornbread with honey butter. Very good! The other is Crepes with lemon and powdered sugar. I loved it!

Busy, well prepared food. Make a reservation for typical breakfast times. When it is busy it is a bit noisy. I'm not an omelette fan but the wife had a spinach omelette that I tried and I would likely order that next time. Not a cheap Shari's price point so be prepared to pay for quality unique dishes. I had banana pancakes. They were okay but to much for me to eat. Fresh OJ was $4.95 a glass. Good but not that good. It's one of those places where you learn what to order that you think it is worth it and that is what you go for. Overall a nice place with good food and service.

We have lived right around the corner from Tom's for awhile and never stopped by. We both had a hankering for pancakes and decided to make the short walk to Tom's Pancake House. So glad we did! Any time we are looking for comforting, breakfast foods, this will be our stop! The service was quick and friendly, even though the restaurant was packed! The food came out hot and so flavorful. We had crepes and pancakes. Both are highly recommended!! Typical diner coffee. So good!!! Highly recommended. Even if there is a wait, it's worth it!

Love this place! Good, friendly staff. Good prices. Good food. I almost always order the Asian chicken salad. And I always have enough left over to take some home for another meal.
