Unreal sandwiches here! The staff is always super friendly and willing to give great recommendations. I’ve had a couple of soups there, the Italian sub, and the pizza sub and all have been phenomenal. Same with the brownie cookies! Highly recommend.
The food here is always delicious and the hot peppers are amazing. The staff are always fairly friendly, but this last time I was blown away by their willingness to go above and beyond. I’m temporarily disabled, and have been for 6 months now. It’s become apparent to me that a lot of people don’t think about the difficulties someone with a disability experiences on a daily basis, or they notice but ask a lot of inappropriate questions about “what happened to me”. That was not the case at all here. Both women behind the counter were extremely friendly and sweet, and instead of making me uncomfortable, they put me at ease by noticing things that others may not. The first woman asked if she could grab my drink for me from the cooler to make things easier (I’m on crutches), and the second woman at the register asked me if it would be better for her to give me a bag with handles for convenience(I can’t tell you how many grocers have handed me a full paper bag without handles). It was an amazing experience and so refreshing. I am so thankful for people like that in the world, and potbelly’s is lucky to have such great employees.
Good first experience but menu should be a little streamlined. Staff seems to expect you know what to order and do not offer much guidance. You pick a sandwich from the menu, great but then you get pushed on what random stuff to add a few minutes later. Can I just pick that in the beginning? Next, avoid the lettuce. It's not a piece of lettuce but shredded lettuce and it spills everywhere. Again, avoid the lettuce. Then, avoid the mac and cheese. Boxed mac and cheese has more flavor than this variant. Otherwise, it's good quality stuff.
Food is good, love the pick your pair with chili. Would give it 5 if they were better about to go orders. Every time in my last 4 to go orders, they've forgotten something or given me a completely different sandwich.
We got the mac and cheese and it was rich gooey ooey and delicious. The "A Wreck" sandwich with all free additional toppings was fantastic the prime rib could have been better but was ordered without additional toppings. The potpie soup was super good. We will be coming back and sampling more here in the future.
