Southern Spice Indian Kitchen

We had been here once before but they recently changed their decor. It looks way more inviting now! The swinging seats are a great novelty especially for the kids. But almost everyone will try them and then move to a regular seat for convenience. Although I had no complaints about the food both times, it doesn't floor you either. If they bring some innovation to their food like they brought to their decor, this place could be a big success.

Rich variety of delicious Indian food with generous portions. Friendly staff, fast service and place is clean. Had multiple visits and would go again :)

I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. The food was so so good! And the staff and owner were really friendly and gave great recommendations for new dishes to try. The place is super clean with tons of space. My vote for best Indian restaurant in Portland area.

The menu features so many items from southern Indiana cuisine that I've never heard of, and they're delicious. The Kempu Bezule Gobi - it's amazing, and we get it every time we come ????

The food is pretty good. The staff could definitely work on improving their people skills. One thing to their credit is that they have recently simplified the way you order your meal. Their new menu is now more aligned with what most customers expect. The owners clearly show their disregard for the environment by using a lot of single use plastics in their restaurant.
