“Great burgers and fries and sweet potato fries. And shakes. The side salads are good instead of fries too. My mother in law has a very strict diet but still really likes this place. She gets a lettuce wrap burger. Kids love it here and get free vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. It's an old fashioned diner and I guess the person who started it is a cardiologist and the fries are fried in cardiologist-approved oil. Also, whole wheat buns are offered, yay!”

“My husband and I stopped by this pizza joint and got a pepperoni and a Hook and Ladder pizza. I was a bit skeptical about this sausage, candied walnut, apple, feta cheese pizza and it turned out amazing. Though my husband would prefer a bit less marinara on his pepperoni, I thought my Hook & Ladder's flavor were well balanced and I liked their thin-ish crust (they may have fried the crust bit). I'll have to come back and try their beers on tap.”

“We had been here once before but they recently changed their decor. It looks way more inviting now! The swinging seats are a great novelty especially for the kids. But almost everyone will try them and then move to a regular seat for convenience. Although I had no complaints about the food both times, it doesn't floor you either. If they bring some innovation to their food like they brought to their decor, this place could be a big success.”

We seated ourselves and it took about 5 minutes for someone to give us a menu. The place wasn't crowded or busy at all. We might go back again just for the onion rings and house made dressings.”

“Pretty darn good seafood experience fish tasted really loved the shrimp, one surprise, not a hush puppies fan but there's were, light and fluffy for hush puppies not to dry and good flavor. Fries we're probably the most disappointing and the shrimp and fish were probably just a touch too greasy. Two people ate for under $16 so pretty pleased with the experience front counter cashier could have been a little bit more on the ball/knowledgeable. All the negatives were pretty minor so I'm giving it a solid four star rating.”

“Very nice McMenamins. The property has lots of different venues on it. There is a distillery for spirits, an outdoor wedding/event venue, etc. Cool to have so many things colocated. The service in the restaurant was friendly and quick. We got there right as they were opening and it got busy quickly (on a Sunday). We had flights of beer and lunch plates. Everything was good.”

“At about 6pm my grandparents and I came in and my grandfather was rude to the waitress for no reason (apparently she took too long to bring him soy sauce but was serving others so I’m not sure why he was so impatient). The food was excellent and I cannot recommend this place more— there is something here for everyone, including those who don’t like pho. I would like to apologize to the wait staff on shift on behalf of my grandparents and encourage you by saying that you’re doing awesome, keep it up. To everyone else— check this place out!”

“I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday there. They messed up my order twice and then they took care of it and I totally didn’t expect them too. They know how to take care of you there! They were so kind and our server Dominic was amazing. He was fast and very attentive, despite his busy it was. One of the best servers I have ever had. “Really appreciate the effort towards creative vegetarian rolls, including the one with sweet chili sauce, mango and jalapeno tempura. I love having plant-based options that aren't just a boring cucumber roll. So many flavors and textures I didn't even miss the fish. I bet it would fool a meat eater. Also, really generous portions. We had a huge plate of veggie tempura as an appetizer and we're totally stuffed by the end.”

This place is better than Pho tango, even if Pho Tango has a better decor, not sure why Pho Tango line is so long. I would definitely stop in here again and recommend one of the soups”

The kids had hummus and French fries(which were also good). They have an awesome selection of canned and bottled beer in coolers. Those can be enjoyed in house or to go. Ended up taking home a 6 pack of assorted beers. Prices were fair to decent. So many more beers I'd love to try. We'll be going back soon to purchase more. Also would love to try the hamburgers.
