Shari's Cafe and Pies

The restaurant was a typical Shari's. What made this particular restaurant great, however was our server, Willie. He was very friendly, positive and quick to attend to us.

I'm sorry to rate a 3 because I like to be more positive and have had several excellent meals at this location. We stopped in for Christmas dinner and of course they were over whelmed being one of the very few Restaurants open for a Christmas Meal. There were 2 of us for Dinner, and ordered the Holiday Dinners. One Ham and One Turkey. The Ham and Turkey were cold. Vegetables were uncooked. The potato's and dressing were almost too hot. Our waitress was very apologetic and wanted to please us. My thought was this is Christmas Day and who and how many didn't show up for work. Normally I will not frequent ANYPLACE that is open on a holiday but for health reasons this year I did.

We had breakfast here this morning. The food was good and our wait person was a delight. Keep him.

It's usually a great spot with fast service! Lots of confusion and a shift change make the wait time over an hour for appetizers..it's coming now tho it looks great :) unlucky we got a new cook.. but it's edible and I'm starving so yeah. Basically half of our order was wrong after all the waiting..

This Shari's seems to be the best one of the 3 in the area. We waited just a couple minutes to be seated, beverages were brought promptly, and the wait after ordering wasn't unreasonable. The food was cooked properly, and the waitress was attentive without being intrusive. Very pleasant experience.
