Rene's Family Restaurant

As the owner of this establishment, I can assure you that we have never yelled at the Waitresses that we hire. We recently had an issue with a few Waitresses that we hired that were also the previous staff with chow down. As it turns out there were multiple issues with lack of charges and my receipts running short. I can not run a business if the products going out are not being charged for. We worked hard to get the establishment ready for opening. I am sorry for any misguided information that anyone has been receiving.

I really enjoyed the food here. One of my needs in life is sausage gravy over biscuits. They were so good here I almost ordered a second plate. The service was also great.

Great food. Never heard these waitresses being yelled at by anyone there. Now some of the waitresses from the Chow Down restaurant needed to be yelled at. We were served by a waitress holding her cell phone to her ear on a personal call and trying to set our food down to us at the same time. How rude was that? Forgot some of our food and got orders messed up. Thank God that restaurant is gone and the piss poor waitresses! Good luck to the new establishment! May we get better food and service. So far, we ate there several times. No complaints. Thanks!!

The sizzling fajitas were awesome as was the service. The turkey club was served with tasty white bread and the right amount of bacon and mayo. They do a great job with straight forward family dining food. Nobody yelled at any of the servers when we were there (read other reviews) and it was a great experience in this historic restaurant.

Every thing I have gotten was really Good! Better food then the last place. The Owners Rene and Sarah are really nice people and a plus for them is they are there and involved with their Buisness Like a Owner should be. Nice to have a place close with Good Food!
