The food was amazing. I had the surf and turf special and the crab cake was one of the best I have had. My wife had the skate and thoroughly enjoyed it. Another in my party had the pork chop and raved! Additionally, we ordered the calamari which was prepared differently than I had ever had it and I would highly recommend it. The one drawback to evening was our server. I informed her about a nut allergy and she never took it seriously, waving off questions about whether something contained nuts saying a dessert didn't contain nuts even when it was specifically mentioned on the menu. She then delivered a free sample that actually had nuts which I had to catch myself. Dangerous!

While the food was quite good, the service was less than spectacular for a restaurant in this area commanding these prices. I was with a party of 6 and our server Erica completely wrote us off once a couple in our party asked to split an entree (they came directly from a funeral and had already eaten, but ordered the most expensive entree.) She made it clear we didn't meet her standards for guest with multiple eye rolls and very little attentiveness. I work in fine dining and was super disappointed by her poor judgment of what kind of guests we were. Never checking back to see if food met our expectations, having to ask her to take empty glassware. But seriously the eye rolls. Everyone else around us in her section got a smile; that did not go unnoticed by my party.

Always a pleasant experience. The little touches are awesome. Great staff. Awesome food.

This was a unique Thanksgiving experience. We we're offered to have our coats hung on entry and seating in a cozy room with limited seating. It is very cold in what seems like an old house. There is a room with a fireplace but there was a group party using it during our visit. The food was ok enough but was nothing to write home about. I was expecting more but it was still good.
