Great experience. The hospitality from the owners, wait staff and hostesses, was excellent. The tour of the Inn was enjoyable and educational. The dinner and especially the breakfast was amazing. I would highly recommend staying and eating here. Or just eating here. Very impressed! Thank you!
I have never dealt with anyone that gives you the personal attention that the Cashtown Inn does. Not only are they accommodating but extremely friendly. They go out of their way. To Make sure your stay is as relaxing and comfortable as possible. They leave no stone unturned. I would highly recommend staying at this place when visiting Gettysburg. Wish this old-fashioned customer service still existed everywhere else.
Atmosphere and location was amazing, the history surrounding the property makes it a must-visit spot for those interested in history! Even if you don’t stay, it’s definitely worth checking out just for the amazing food! Jeremey and Danielle were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home!
I recently stayed at the Cashtown Inn, in the room that my ancestor slept in when it was his headquarters during the battle of Gettysburg. I am the closest living Collateral Descendant of Lieutenant General A.P. Hill. I exhumed General Hill's remains on 12/13/22, I was his Pallbearer at his reinterment on 1/21/23, and I'm his National Guardian. The owners and employees of the Cashtown Inn were very welcoming and couldn't have given me a better experience! The customer service was awesome, the food was amazing, and their love of history and preserving the Inn made me very happy and relieved that it's in great hands. I highly recommend anyone who loves history or paranormal to stay at the historic Cashtown Inn! You will not be disappointed! A HUGE thank you to Jeremy, Danielle, Jennifer, Brian, and Sabrina. I will definitely be back soon.
My experience at the Cashtown Inn was very pleasant. I stayed for one night in room 4, the room was clean and looked beautiful. The bed was very cozy—I normally don't fall asleep easily in hotel rooms, but I had no problem this time. Breakfast was offered, but I declined, so I can't review it.
The owners, Jeremy and Danielle, were very attentive and accommodating. They offered a free tour of the building and were nice enough to allow my friends on the tour, even though they were not guests. Jeremy has a deep knowledge of the building and it's relationship to the Battle of Gettysburg. After staying here, its obvious that they both have a devotion to their guests, the hotel, and to historic preservation.
I wanted to visit the Cashtown Inn for almost 20 years, and I walked away pleased with my experience. Next time I'm near Gettysburg, I will be returning!
