Garryowen Irish Pub

This is the Best Pub Gettysburg had to offer. They have The Best food. Hands down. You can't go wrong coming here. Ownership is awesome, employees are all great. Nothing more you could ask for from an Irish pub. Go get drunk and eat. Then Uber it home.

Great food, great atmosphere, great Irish Pub feel. Staff worked in harmony to deliver delicious food. Great menu with varying prices to suit your mood. Great flavor, tried the shrimp creole special. Promptly greeted and promptly served. Would come back!

I had a great in eye steak. Our friend had bangers and mash. It was swimming in a dark, salty gravy. If you can I would ask for the gravy on the side. Dish would have been much better. We let the waiter know and he said he would pass our salt concerns to the kitchen. House wines by the glass were not bad. They had an extensive Irish whiskey list. Also had Irish and Scotch single malts. As well as Scotch blended whiskeys. All together, I would say a very enjoyable meal. We will return.

They seem to be short-staffed but the hostess got us a seat fairly quickly. She sat us next to the fireplace which my wife loved. The atmosphere in the place is awesome. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks. The food is a wide selection from pub food to gourmet dishes. I had the short ribs and my wife had the cod fish. The ribs melted in your mouth they were so delicious. The fish was little on the peppery side. Overall we had a great dinner.
