Appalachian Brewing Company Gateway

Great brewery and restaurant. We got the 5 oz tasting flight of 8 beers for $14 and really enjoyed trying all the different varieties. Had four different dishes and they were all good, but the brats and pierogies were especially great. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area.

Good beer. And a great pulled pork sandwich. Clean. Otherwise everything on the menu is spicy as hell. Just okay

I'm sure it's fine, but I felt so out of place at the bar. I'll never go there again unless I'm going with friends and sitting at a table. I felt like a fish out of water the whole time and just did takeout instead. In the back of my mind ... You ain't from around here .... You ain't from around here ... Over and over

Staff was friendly & service was 5 stars, food was really good I give that 5 stars as well. The reason I only gave a total score of 3 stars was because of the atmosphere. Allow me to explain. We went there on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend at 1:00pm for a family lunch. It was difficult to have a enjoyable conversation due to the Head Banger music playing from the bar sound system. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of metal/head banger music but to play it so loudly on a Sunday afternoon lunch with family is too much. Maybe on Sunday lunch they should skip playing Quiet Riot, Judas Priest, Dio, & Ozzy so loudly.

Great place with really good service. Onion rings are great!! Try them. Prices are good and the restaurant is not noisy so you can have a conversation fine while you dine.
