Janoski Farms Country Restaurant

Great family atmosphere where there the staff knows the regulars by name. We had the different sandwich wraps for lunch and loved them all.

After a great day of kayaking at Raccoon, we asked Mrs. Janoski if we could order takeout from the restaurant and sit at their lake at the farm and eat (because we were still wet and muddy from our adventures). She said yes! The meat loaf and stuffed cabbage were delicious, and sitting by the lake was amazing. Can't wait for this year's wine festival!

First time there. We will try again. Food came quick and was decent. Service so so. I had to ask for drink refill even though glass was empty when waitress cleared appetizers. Cashier walked away when we approached register. A waitress came over to rally a bill and told me I had to wait for my waitress even though I had my bill in hand. After several minutes that waitress and another started searching for our waitress. Seems like it would have been more efficient for one of them to take our payment. Eventually cashier returned. Wife asked for a box. She was saving room for dessert but waitress brought bill with the box which we filled ourselves. We got dessert elsewhere on our drive home. Not a horrible experience. Just so so. 3 stars.

Janoski's is a farm/greenhouse/garden center with a small grocery store and gift store. I go there to get potted plants. They have an extensive selection of decorative plants for landscaping and home gardens. I got six different plants for window boxes. In season, the store has fresh produce mainly from the farm and some other local farms. You can also walk around the farm if you like.
