Honest John's Bar and Restaurant

The food was excellent. Beer was good with an awesome recommendation from our server. Owner and servers were super friendly. A little sad that I don't live in the area to give them my business all the time.

Great place for a bite! Food is fantastic, portions are generous, and staff is helpful and friendly. It's not in the middle of the Waterfront hubbub, which was a big draw for us. Street parking was easy to find.

We had a great first experience. We sat at the bar and the bar tender was fantastic. Very attentive. We ordered the mussels to start and were pretty blown away. They came in a delicious creamy sauce with an abundance of bread. I had the eggplant for my entree, which was great. It just needed a little salt. My husband got the ricotta dumplings which were fantastic. It was a simple but flavorful dish. We can’t wait to come back!!
