Outback Steakhouse

I went to outback for my siblings birthday. The staff was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed my salmon and my family enjoyed the bloomin' onion appetizer.

Food was good, but had to wait for almost an hour to get our food. We got our kids food and they ate. But they were done and my wife and I didnt have our food yet. Good place to go if have nothing else to do for the day.

This is in reference to the restaurant on the hill off Montour Run Road.

I've been to this Outback a few times now, and I've never hated it, but it doesn't really hold a special place in my heart either. On the whole, food there tastes good. They let you do burgers like you do steak, rare to well done. Mine have always been just as I asked for. The biggest complaint I have about the food is that, depending on what you order, the price might not reflect the portions. With the burgers I've noticed you get pretty much what you pay for. Other things on the menu are a little overpriced for what you get, chicken dishes in particular. It all tastes good, mind you.
As far as atmosphere, it's pretty nice. Not loud or boisterous. You wouldn't go here to drink at the bar and watch the game. It's more of a family kind of place. Lights are a little dim in my opinion.
They keep the place good and clean. Never had an issue with that. That extends to the bathrooms as well, which are usually very nice.
Staff has always been very nice to me, and I've never had an issue with any of the servers. There are a few that don't have much of a personality, but no rude ones.

As I said, it's not a bad place. Food's good (though sometimes overpriced), atmosphere is OK, place is clean, staff isn't rude or anything. It just doesn't do anything special for me. You might love it, but hey. Only on way to find out.

It had been a while since we had been to an outback. We both wanted a Burger, and on a whim we decided to give outback a chance. We were very very happy with our decision. Burgers were cooked perfectly, and had great flavor! I also ordered a cup of the tortilla soup, and boy was it good! Also, the service was fantastic! My wife commented on how nice it was that our server took note of the fact that she had asked for no onion on her burger, and therefore took it upon herself to also have them excluded from the salad, which was much appreciated. We'll be adding outback to our rotation and coming in more often.

I got the chicken and ribs, my boyfriend got a steak and we shared a blooming onion. Everything was absolutely fantastic and we were really happy we decided to go there for dinner. Definitely recommend. It is a bit more pricey than we both expected but well worth it!
