As Botha volunteer and customer, St. Alphonsus' are the best Fish and Chips around Wexford by far during Lent. Definitely would recommend it.
The food is very good, it gets busy and this year was a little confusing that we went down to pay, came back up and got back in line to be seated. The steps were very congested and I got knocked into when trying to leave and almost fell down the stairs. I would like to see them put where you pay at the top of the stairs. Just my opinion. The fish and selection of sides is good, it is hard to get a refill on drinks sometimes but the kids try. Desserts are extra and they vary by what gets cut and plated. Usually very good. Overall worth doing once unless you can arrive early, they do offer take out.
