Great new restaurant with a date night vibe. Quiet, dark, good food. Friendly servers. Much needed restaurant in the area.
Fourth time here. May 23rd. What happened? Food was sub par. Where are the chefs? Definitely line cooks prepared our dinners. No sauce on Chicken ala Tap house. Boiled chicken, no sauce, hearts of palm whole and cold. Twice baked potatoes cool and flavorless. No bread service. Son crab cakes still in scoop form, not even in temp.Would like my money back.
I was pleasantly surprised by 7 twelve. The main reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because parking is valet only and it would be nice to have a choice; especially because it's not a restaurant that I would exactly consider high end although higher end than many.
We had a reservation and we got seated immediately. When we went on a Saturday at 6pm, it was probably at half capacity but it got busy soon after.
The atmosphere could be described as sophisticated but not pretentious. The bar is the main feature and I love the light on the liquor shelves, very dramatic. The walks are a dark blue and a dusty light blue I think, the lights were dim and I think they dimmed them even more as the evening progressed.
Our server was very professional and the staff is clearly well trained.
The food was good. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the glazed paired beautifully with it. The herb risotto was delicate and light.
My husband got a medium rare stake, they make sure you cut into it and are satisfied with it and it looked perfect but when he got to the thicker part it was rare leaning on blue, which is how I eat it but not my husband's preference. The taste though was delicious and so was the chowder and the vegetables dou jour that that day were baby carrots.
They have a decent selection of local beers and the feature cocktails are good. The 712 Smash was absolutely delicious.
Prices might be considered high but honestly the food is so good that it's all worth it.
Pricey for the portions! Food was good and soups were excellent! The server was really nice and was always checking on us! The decor is striking!Stuffed Shrimp with a baked potato and salad was one dinner, and I had a cup of soup and an appetizer, we each had iced tea... $$$!
Very nice atmosphere, service was amazing! Chef was on the floor, food runners were polite. good prices, and very reasonable. Large selection of drinks and bourbon. We sat at the first table by the door, I don’t love that it’s too close to the kitchen and front door, but that wasn’t a big deal. Cheesecake was fire, and so were our steaks. 5/5 recommend.
Growing pains are understandable for a new place. Waitress was kind. Food was great. They have complimentary valet. They are currently working on their beer menu but they have alot if common beers. Nice location for a treat yourself date night, bringing the in-laws, Valentine's Day, Anniversary, any special occasions. Will come back again.
