Went for Sunday brunch. I had the Steak and Eggs which was amazing—by far the best I’ve ever had. My husband said the burger was great as well. Cocktails were top notch and the service was friendly and relaxed. Nice mix of families and couples eating there, and you can dress up or come in a T-shirt. Best part was there was no wait to be seated at 11am!
We loved our dinner at Acorn! The food was fresh and unique, and the flavors were unique and exciting. We ordered the linguini which surprised us with how tasty it was, and the pork. The desserts we're all fresh, and honestly the inner kid in us wish we hadn't decided to be an adult and "split one".
The atmosphere is relaxing and fun, and is in a great location. We will definitely be back! ????
Enjoyed Brunch on a Sunday; best to make reservations to ensure a seat. The restaurant could have used a couple more servers to keep up with the crowd.
So many good options to choose from! The Onion Bagel with Scallion and White fish was so good, we bought another to take home! The Scallion Pancake was delicious and very filling. My husband enjoyed the burger and fries.
Great lunch selection. Had a turkey sandwich with a salad, both were delicious. The sandwich was extremely filling and was one of the best turkey sandwiches I’ve ever had. I forgot to ask for dressing for the salad, and on arrival discovered the salad was adorned with a zesty lemon drizzle, which was amazing.
This is an incredible restaurant. The scallops were incredible. They were so smooth and flavorful. The mussels were enormous and tasty. The beef loin was very good, as were the accompanying bean medley and cornbread. Even the goat butter they brought for the bread was excellent. Everything is so good here. Acorn is the best restaurant I have visited in my few trips to Pittsburgh.
