My favorite place. There is absolutely nothing on the large menu that is not absolutely wonderful. The service perfect. Bring a large appetite or be prepared to bring some home. Generous portions are the norm here.

The server was wonderful! The food was very good and hot. Got the garlic parmesan wings and they were unbelievably delicious.

Imagine an Italian-inspired Canters, but in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. Armstrong’s offers a long-standing authenticity to it’s hometown, no-frills vibe. The friendly staff consistently serves up delicious, no-fuss fare. Enjoy a seat in one of their deep-set booths...it makes the experience even more cozy.

Excellent service and huge portions of good food. I hadn't been there in a very very long time--possibly 20+ years!--but it was exactly as expected. This is not the best food you can get, but it's very good and very reasonably priced, especially for the amount you get (every one of the people in my party had enough lunch leftovers for the next day's lunch, as well). The service is the real star, though. I will be back much sooner next time!
