Newly opened modern, upscale diner close to East Liberty's Hotel Indigo. Serves brunch, lunch, dinner & late night food and cocktails.
I visited for brunch and tried the BEC (bacon, egg & cheese sandwich) and the chicken & waffles. Both were very tasty and fresh.
Blue Sky serves 1/2 price mimosas or blood marys during brunch.
They have a spacious patio with games (cornhole, connect 4).
Very nice addition to the neighborhood. Will definitely be back.

This has been a long time coming, and well worth the wait. Blue Sky Kitchen & Bar is a much needed new addition to this area of East Liberty and the ownership of this new venture is easily one of the neighborhood's most loyal hospitality leaders to the surrounding community that you can find.

From the classics like Buffalo Chicken Dip to spicy new twist's on fried shrimp, the menu will have something for everyone. The service was quick, and the food was exactly what we came for...

Plenty of seating both inside, and outside (weather permitting) and rumors are spreading that they venue plans to build an outdoor structure so that live music can be played in all weather environments...but that's down the road for now.

I'm glad to share that this location is LGBTQIA friendly and will glad to be a regular at this much needed 211 Tower renovation.

Tasty bites & Fantastic espresso martini. Friendly service. Highlight was definitely the big outdoor space with games.

Tasty cocktails, nice shaded patio, chill vibe. Get the shishito pepper appetizer…delicious. Executive chef came out and greeted tables. Keep this place in business!

As a long time bartender, this is by far the best cocktail menu I’be ever experienced in Pittsburgh. The salmon dish with shishito risotto and caramelized brussel sprouts was cooked to perfection, and the chicken club was one of the best iterations of a classic I’ve ever had. Haven't had a dining experience this great in Pittsburgh in years.
