Fantastic in every way!! We LOVED of meal and the excellent service! We will be back!
Great meal at restaurant week prices! Brussels sprouts were amazing, meatloaf and chicken for main courses were also very good. Joe was our server, he was very attentive and explained everything in great detail! We will be back!
We were so pleased to be a part of your wine dinner. The menu was excellent beyond compare. So wonderful to sample his creations.
Can't wait to go again. Jim & Carol Sweeney
We recently had dinner at Bonfire. We had requested seating upstairs but the stairs were not suitable for my wife who has a knee injury - and there is no elevator - so we ate on the first floor. We were offered the menu from upstairs but chose to order from the other menu. My wife had the Caesar Salad with chicken and I had the burger. Both were very disappointing. The chicken on the salad had clearly been sitting around under heating lights. It was dry and lacked the flavor that fresh chicken brings. My burger was a disaster. First of all it was incredibly small and completely dwarfed by the bun. It was very overcooked and dry as a bone. It had an odd taste and smell - completely inedible. The manager there was very good and apologized for the food which we appreciated. But if the more casual food is so disappointing we find it hard to imagine the food for the upstairs could be delicious. There are so many outstanding restaurants in the South Side so we will not be making a return visit.
