    The smoked wings, ribs, cabbage, potato salad, pasta salad and cornbread were delicious! My husband and I shared the meal, and we still have leftovers for lunch tomorrow! The banana pudding could use a few more vanilla wafers, but it was still good.

    Carmi came to the Northside around the same time I did (9 yrs) and they've been my favorite ever since. It's great to have a new location here where I can get their delicious stuff when I don't necessarily have the time to wait. Best greens I've ever had!

    I like Carmi I’ve been a fan since they started. The food is exactly what it’s titled “Carmi Express”. The food is slightly different because it’s already prepared but still good. I think what they were trying to accomplish is soul food to go kinda like fast food but homemade. When it comes to soul food people are very finicky. I would recommend tasting it for yourself. Please remember it is “Carmi Express”.
