Great place with four different restaurants with different styles of cuisine. You can scan the QR code on the table to order food. The food is great and service is quick.
City kitchen has now taken over the spot formerly owned by Galley Bakery square with two returning restaurant concepts and two new ones.
Returning are Somi and Elevate. New are Shaka which is Hawaiian fusion and Charred which is a gourmet burger place. They have a full bar and indoor alcove seating is available.
You must select a table before ordering in order to let them know where to bring your food. Take out is available as well as order ahead. Cash and cards are accepted. Card fees are passed to the customer.
Enjoyed eating salmon burger at Charred. Family member had vegan food from Somi. Great service and they clean your table when you are finished.
Food is pricey here but you are paying for chef's concepts. Free two hour parking is available during the week in the nearby parking garage. Looking forward to returning and trying the other concept restaurants.
I came here a few nights ago and the food is great. It was not a quick wait. We used the QR code and ordered with my phone, and in 5 minutes the food came. My complaint is they missed stuff in our orders. I ordered a spicy noodle dish but they didn't give me the spices. My husband's dish was missing avocados. I had to walk into the kitchen and show my receipt and ask for the stuff that was missing. They did fix it immediately. The atmosphere is quite nice. There's inside and outside seating, and there's a huge floor area with a large TV screen showing the U.S. Tennis Open match and people were crowded there watching the match sitting on the floor.
City Kitchen is absolutely fantastic, far beyond expectations! The variety of menu choices is amazing and each dish we tried was nothing short of delicious. Ordering via QR code made me a little nervous at first, until I realized how efficient and easy the whole process was.
My husband and I met friends and had an assortment of dishes, including the poke nachos with crispy wontons and salmon, which was divine. The spring rolls were cut into large bite size pieces and filled with shrimp, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, and noodles and served with a delicious soy-based sauce. We also loved the beef egg rolls served with a slightly spicy sauce, and the fried cauliflower and chicken. The banh mi also looked good, but we were too full to try it. Happy hour is awesome with 1/2 off cocktails, beer, and wine from 4:30 to 6:30. The atmosphere was energetic but not too loud. We were still able to hold a conversation. City Kitchen is the perfect place to meet friends or colleagues for happy hour and dinner or lunch. We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.
