This is the most promising food spot in Carrick since I moved here 15 years ago. Seriously some of the best tenders I've ever had. They are fresh, moist, and perfectly breaded. Just beware that even the "plain/southern style" tenders are still a little spicy. The waffle fries are also great, as was the cole slaw, if not slightly too heavy on the mayo. I was even a big fan of the hot honey garlic sauce. All in all probably the best meal I've had out of this neighborhood. The prices aren't bad either. I hope they stay for a long time, unlike several previous businesses along this stretch of Brownsville Rd.
This place is a hidden gem. Delicious food, wings are big. I ordered 12 wings everything was good.
Everything I've ordered from here has been delicious. From the Mac Daddy sandwich to their traditional wings (I love the hot honey garlic), you can't go wrong! Quick & friendly service. Bring on the heat!
The chicken sandwich was very, very good. Sauce was delicious. The fries need more salt maybe but everything was good. I ordered mild and it wasn't too spicy, just the right amount. Will be going again.
I am seriously impressed with Coco Wawa. It's another chicken place, sure, but I don't know that I've ever had such good chicken tenders. And I have eaten many in my lifetime. These are perfectly cooked, not overdone, and not paper thin nor thick and gristly. Prices seem pretty reasonable. The $10 fry bowl is huge.
The mild is very mild indeed, so I'll be trying something spicier next time (compromises have to be made when the whole family is sharing things to try). The business is booming right now so it was about a 20 minute wait, but it was well worth it for chicken that has obviously been cooked from fresh. This is a very welcome addition to Brownsville Road and I hope they stay around for a long time!
