Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh

Went here a few weeks ago with a friend. Took him down to the Strip to show him some cool shops and then told him we needed to come here to eat.

First off, good beer as usual. I did the liter which might not have been the best idea but it was good. He got the half. Food was awesome. I got the reuben and he got the French dip. Mine was awesome, cheesy and you could tell the sauerkraut wasn't out of a can. Walking out of there I was stuffed.

As a side note, don't park in the cutout of the road near the entrance. If you are standing at the entrance looking up and to the right on the street you will see it. Nice $50 parking ticket even though there are no signs.

We very much enjoyed our experience. The schnitzel was amazing and we loved the brats. We will definitely return soon. I look forward to trying all their different beers and other food. They were also awesome when it came to us bringing a stroller with our twins. Also, my wife has been to the original in Germany, and she said they did a good job emulating it's feel. I hope to go to Germany soon and this experience only has me more excited.

Great place! Great food! We had a blast! I just love the souvenir store. I got a shirt, a beer Stein and other stuff. We will definitely be coming back. Enjoy!!!

One of the best places to create a memorable night with a group of friends. The beer selection is awesome. My favorite is Hefeweizen.
The food menu provides a wide range of German food. Sausages are must try. The salads are large. The desserts are good too.
All said, the best thing about this place is the band. The fact that the house rule is not to step on the tables says a lot about the amount of fun and joy that the band brings to the people. Feel free to dance on the chairs.
