    Went there to celebrate our 20th anniversary on the recommendation of two friends while we were in town visiting. I had the veal piccata and love it. Service was great. Food was hot. Was really torn between the scallops and lamb or the piccata. Next time will definitely have to try the scallops.

    Always delicious, fresh and homemade. Service is normal unless you like to rush through a meal. Go elsewhere if in hurry

    A favorite place for casual or special occasion dining. My entree was a special of sea scallops and lamb chops. I don't order lamb out often, but trusted this place to do them right...and I'm glad I did. Juicy and flavorful. The scallops were equally well prepared, cooked just enough.

    The side of broccoli, which was lightly seasoned and steamed perfectly - and very generous portion. Couldn't resist spumoni for dessert. My friend had the cherry chocolate cake which was decadent.

    Really like it here. Always good food and service.

    The veal was wonderful, could have used a little more seasoning. The pasta was tasty. The service was spectacular. Shainna, our server was extremely busy but found time to make our evening special. The food was good, service great, will return.

    La Tavala is one of my favorite places to visit. We have become friends with Carmela and Joe. The food is excellent. This is not a fancy restaurant. It is casual with expensive taste for reasonable prices. Order one of Joe's pizza pies to go after your meal. You become family here. Bring your favorite wine because this is a BYOB.
