Mineo Pizza House

The food here is so, so good. I hadn't been here in years but I went back to catch up with old friends recently, and it was just as good as I always remembered. Love this place!

In my opinion, the best pizza in the world is served here. That could be because it was always where we went when I was younger and we visited my grandparents in Pittsburgh, but I truly haven't found any better pizza, and that's not for lack of trying. Can't recommend this place enough!

Great food in general, not just the pizza. The garlic bread is to die for and employees are generally nice. The prices are beyond reasonable.

The food is fine here. We were hungry and enjoyed our food. Happy hour price for beer was good. But we took the pizza home and it doesn't hold up well. There is lots of cheese but the sauce is a weaker point in my opinion. Some people might like heavy on the cheese pizza but I think I was some more flavor in the sauce. We also got garlic bread and that was fantastic. The bread looks rock hard but when you pick it up it's so soft and the garlic butter was really good. That was a major highlight. I would go back again for that and cheap beer.

In Pittsburgh a lot of people argue about who has the best pizza but in my opinion it is hands-down Mineo's Pizza House. Their sauce is what does it for me. But besides the sauce, there's always a lot of cheese and the ingredients taste fresh. I even enjoyed the grease on my pizza here. In addition to the amazing Pizza, there are a lot of Italian Style dishes to eat and sandwiches and whatnot. I think that one is most impressive to me though is the selection of craft beer for a very affordable price. Be sure to get a pizza pie and a six pack to go!
